Biography
Dr. Ana Aparicio is an Associate Professor in the Department of Genitourinary Medical Oncology, Division of Cancer Medicine of The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She received her MD from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in Madrid, Spain and completed her clinical internship and residency at UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Aparicio is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. She has received numerous awards from MD Anderson Cancer Center, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the National Cancer Institute and other institutions.
Dr. Aparicio has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical publications and is a member of the American Society for Clinical Oncology, American Medical Association, Southwest Oncology Group and the American Association for Cancer Research, among others.
